Have you ever wondered how the Mondiali would have been like in the cold and maybe even with the snow?
Well our friends from Copenhagen made them from November 29th to December 1st and had a great time… and how could it be otherwise?
2 days full of sport and reflection, mostly lived indoors within the Ollerup Academy of Physical Education (Gymnastikhøjskolen i Ollerup). Instead of football the tournament that dominated was the dodgeball (evolution of the poison ball) played with 6 sponge balls and the goal of remaining with more companions on the field, this sport bring us back to when we were children and it is an activity that everyone can really play, even those who were children really so many years ago!
During the day also dances, activities for kids, workshops with debate about the fight against discrimination through sport and in the evening could not miss the concerts of emerging bands.
Obviously the campsite was built inside the gym, but the atmosphere was the same as in all the summer Mondiali: fun, sharing and the desire to build a better world.
This edition was born thanks to the European project EYESS coordinated by UISP Nazionale and supported by the European Erasmus + Sport program, which has among its objectives that of transmitting the values and methodologies of the Mondiali to the various European associations participating in the project, with the aim of creating similar events.
As we have said so many times we really want the spirit of Mondiali will spread everywhere, contaminating places and groups to promote a culture of acceptance and respect for differences.
Mondiali 365 days a year at any latitude.
